Big Boat

Bringing a new boat into the shop always requires planning ahead. The shop is cleared, tools pushed back, other boats cleared out of the way and lots of volunteers come to watch and help.

Richardson sled

We're bringing in a 1929 29' Richardson tomorrow. It's going to be a tight squeeze as we bring a 9'6" boat in through a 9'10" opening. Jeff is constructing a sled to support the boat as we slide it into the shop. It really looks like it's about to take flight.

check greenboats for clench nailing.

Welcome to the Workshop

Lots of things going on in here. John'S"Bach's Comet was launched yesterday. He doused it with the bottle of CHIMAY he had been saving and declared it finished. The mast was stepped and it is floating in the Delaware now.
New boat coming in... looking forward to it... it will be a tight squeeze thru the doors.
